Hi,
I have some web skills but I am interested in feeling more confident that I know what is going on rather than just poking around and making something work. My current method is to adjust and change things in code but I don't have a really good foundation. P2P sounded more interesting than an HTML for Dummies book and cheaper than the traditional course route. I hope that P2P continues to grow.
Thanks to all who have contributed to it.
Hi Mark, I chose to comment on your post because we share a first name (and of course we are supposed to comment on another learners post as part of the challenge). Best of luck with your studies. -mark
ReplyDeleteHi Mark, That's great!
ReplyDeleteI am still a newbie, I hope we can share some knowledge.
greetings and you take care!
Hey Mark, I am sorta just like you. I know how to poke around with the code but somehow I end up making a mess of things. I agree though, I cant stand leaning from a book and taking a course at a near by college is just way to expensive. Well, I hope your learning goes well and I wish the best of luck.
ReplyDeletesame here..I learn from applications and not books.
ReplyDeleteBooks are great, but nothing beats learning by doing, and discussing your achievements/frustrations with others.
ReplyDeleteWell done on taking the first steps into an authored education environment for html. Usually tinkering can give a much deeper understanding of a subject than just plain learning so I wouldn't be surprised if you manage to fly through these lessons.
ReplyDeleteEither way, best of luck!
Very nice blog
ReplyDeleteLooks like we are a bit on the same page wanting to move beyond poking around code. Best of luck!!
ReplyDeleteNice looking blog. I'm a total beginner, but hopefully the P2PU site will ease me in gently! Support of experienced code tinkerers will help too!
